My Pointe Exactly and Pirouette My Whistle (OPI)
Although I don’t usually go for sheers, I looove these new additions to OPI’s SoftShades line, inspired by the NYC Ballet Company. I haven’t tried them all yet, but so far these are my two favorites. My Pointe Exactly is a pretty unique dove grey jelly, and Pirouette My Whistle is a very elegant silver glitter. Alone they’re fantastic, but they’re absolute perfection when paired together.
Sew Psyched (Essie)
I didn’t like this color at all when I first tried it - thought it gave me zombie fingers - but I felt compelled to try it again in honor of green month. I’m so glad I gave this another shot. I don’t know what changed, but Sew Psyched is a really pretty military green cream. Pretty flattering, too. Love.
Mint Sorbet (Sally Hansen X-treme Wear)
It’s still March, so I’m still sharing some of my favorite greens. Today, it’s Mint Sorbet. Mint Sorbet is a yummy shade of mint green that’s perfect for spring. I added a coat of Sally Hansen’s “Diamonds” from their Diamond Strength line of top coats because I thought it needed a little sparkle.
Peridot (Chanel)
Peridot is a green/gold duochrome, and although released in fall of 2012, I think it’s quite appropriate for spring. Unfortunately, this seems to be prettier in pictures than it is in real life on my hands. I really want to like this, but each time I wear it I’m just not sure about it. Too bad. Chanel is crazy expensive, yo.
Fortunately for those who found Peridot’s price tag a deal breaker, OPI appears to be releasing a much more affordable Peridot dupe in their summer collection. Good news!
